Blind installing 7000 Radio Code

 I have just managed to install my radio with no visible dispay.
Once the Radio is switched on press the No.1 button the correct number of times, do the same with the No. 2 button and so on till the code is entered then press the No 5 button once to complete the sequence, sit back and smile 
After switching on do not select the No. 1 button and then try entering the Code as this does not work @
