it may sound that i am being finickity but the gearstick (auto) makes a dreadful vibrating noise at anything over 30 mph......can just touch the lever and it and it stops...obviously some play somewhere in the stick mechanism...I am sure someone will say just "change it" but thought i would ask if there is any adjustment fix etc before i do that ...any advice greatly appreciated john

Is the little Allen-Screw tight? Or it could be the plastic is damaged further down.

I think there a rollpin in the shaft somewhere? I'd be guessing though, I think removing it and having a look might be the best option.

No at the bottom end of the shaft itself. I dont have one to hand to check and I'm maybe thinking of the manual gearstick. If you remove it you should find whats loose
