Where can I get a fuel tank strap ?

Which side ?
They are both different profiles.
Can It be welded ?

Its the drivers side strap. I am no expert but I dont think it can be welded as the break is in the middle and both ends of the break are very flaky.
Is it simply a case of buying the strip in the link posted by Amigafan and cutting it to the correct length then drilling a hole in each end?

One end of the strap is a hook so just bend it over - hard to describe - take a look at the old one. Other end just bend 90deg and drill an appropriate size hole.

Thanks amigafan2003, I have taken the strap off and I understand what you mean now  My strap is 30 mm wide, should I get the one in the link (20 mm wide) or pay extra for a 30 mm one, will it make any difference?

If the original is 30mm, I would say needs to be 30mm!
