Can anyone tell me what the wiring socket with the red blank (as pic) is for please? I assume it's for an accessory like headlight washers which I don't have? I want to wire a thermo switch for an additional fan and I need a positive plus an ignition.

Hi mate its a diagnostic point for testing the engine bay loom Have a look at the fatter wires on the fan relay, its a long green on in the engine bay, think its on the off side inner wing but could be wrong on that

Thanks Matt. I'm wary about taking a feed off the wires to the green relay. Is there anywhere else to take my wires from?
