Petrol tank

Good sunny morning folks,  Smiley
 
Some advice please.  I discovered that the Petrol Tank on one of my 24 valve Cossie Estates was oozing petrol from the top of the Tank, about 1/2inch from the neck,  Cry. I have patched it up and lowered the amount of petrol in the Tank.  
 
I have a spare Tank on my 2.9 12valve Estate which is in good nick as far as I know. Are they compatable?

AFAIK all models used the same tank.
