Hi Folks
Are the fuel lines just pull off-push on are are they secured otherwise?

They should be that type, usually best to squeeze the lugs and push on to release the grip before pulling off.
To reduce spillage unless it’s stood for a while pull the pump relay with the engine running it should depressurise the system.
If the weathers turned warmer then releasing the filler may release pressure in the tank.
