So has anyone have an idea which models have the self levelling suspension fitted please? Or was it an added extra? I have an April '97 reg Ultima 2.3l. Any info welcome.

All estates, you cant test them off the vehicle as they won't move at all. Dont buy used ones if they have towed a caravan as they are generally shot.
They have a different fitment to the saloon ones, and (stand by to be corrected on this) are not interchangeable.
