Cosworth thermostats

Hi guys, I've been running a Jag/Mondeo V6 stat housing for a while now. I've never liked the bottom hose arrangement, the hose loops down too far for my liking, the bottom engine cover doesn't sit right with it. I have just modded the Mondeo one, removed the thermostat cover and fitted a VW golf cover! The one I have is plastic and exits at 90deg. The bolts line up close enough. There is an internal flanged step inside that needed filing down a bit. it is untested at the mo but looks good. I'll put some pics up later. Dan

That's interesting Dan. I would be interested in seeing that in your pics. I bought the mondeo one a while back but havent got back to getting on with the full engine bay loom rebuild with the engine out at present. On my to do list and get back onto it soon I hope. John.
