Well folks. Sold the Scorp.
She is gone.
In her place is a Saab 9-5. Gorgeous, unusual, fast-enuf + reliable. 
Also just bought a boat + a Paraglider so my summer time will be taken up with those activities.
In the meantime, thanks for all your time, assistance + answers to my (occasional unusual) postings.
Best of health to you all + wish all your cars thousands of happy trouble free mileage in the future.
If i see you i will give you a hoot 
At the same time i see there no real point in me staying around on here as this is strictly a Ford Scorpio Site + I no longer have said transport.
