i have to admit simmo (yes the old one) is quite a hero; had arranged to meet him at bridges breakers, he got there a bit before me and located the scorp in the yard, which was lucky as it was about to be crushed, he held the crusher at bay til i arrived for the rear seat squab (which was in A1 condition).
its so annoying to know that a couple (there was another at the yard) of scorps are being scrapped, the one i got the seat from; the rest of the seats were immaculate raven leather, the carpet was very good too, the door seals, calipers etc etc. i did find the owners manual on the passenger seat (if anyone needs it) and i did have time to 'borrow' all the relays from both boxes.....

Glad to have helped Phil.  . As you say a shame to see these cars crushed with so many useable bits on them. As for you...... "no gain without pain"..... . Will keep an eye out for the rubber surround. Cheers, Mike.
