"Have You Been Spotted ?" (PC version)

Google street view went national yesterday and 95% of the UK roads are now covered. Puts a new slant on "Have you been spotted" doesn't it. Can you find your Scorpio ? Mine is located at LE2 7SR, parked facing the Sports Leagues car park wall and I'm in the fluorescent jacket walking across the works car park. Oh yeah, Gozz, the infamous Emporium van is in the same location

Spotted the Google camera car coming round ages ago and have checked regularly to see if the street view for my road is there - it wasn't last week but is now ! Not too happy about it - I reckon it is intrusive. I understand you can request images to be removed - anyone know how to get it done ?

Mine dosent appear to have been updated . It has the same image as the normal Google maps . From the ariel view you can see the top of the old gal, but from street level my drive is empty . Looking at the weed growth coming through the gravel i would say the images are about 3 months apart

| Yes, overhead view and street view are obviously not 'in sync'. O/H view for me shows 3 cars but street view only 2 - I had the 3rd car parked round my mates place at the time the Google car came round and sure enough found it on his driveway. From that I came work out that the street view must have been done between mid April to mid May 2009 and the O/H view from mid May to mid June 2009.

You may find that the aerial view(s) are two to three years old whereas the street-view images are relatively recent. The view of my house from the Google "plane" shows one of my old trailers and a donor Granada on the drive and they were got rid of two years ago, the camera car got me last summer .........on the day the Sun was shining

Blimey. That is an old image. You havent had that 2.3 for a while now. I wouldnt be supprised if the updated image will show a car on ramps with a pair of legs sticking out from under it
