Whilst at the national motor museum in Beaulieu, one of the original 6 Chitty Chitty Bang Bang cars was being driven around the grounds.
On closer inspection I noticed some familiar parts inside, and the driver confirmed that the engine, gearbox, handbrake and pedals all came from a Scorpio when the car was recommissioned in the early 2000s.
Wasn't allowed to see the engine but I'm told its the efi V6.
Nice to see another Scorpio lives on, albeit in a different body.

Interesting - didn't know there were 6 made.
Many years ago I recall seeing in a small town local to me on a few occasions, 'a' CCBB on the back of a trailer - apparently is was owned by a chap who ran a Fish'n'Chip shop !
