I've just bought a 1995 'N' 24 valve saloon in aubergine with full leather and all the bells and whistles. The car is in immaculate condition inside and out. I bought it for engine spares for the one i already have for my racecar, only this one has a snapped timing chain on cyl. bank 1-3. The only problem is i can't bring myself to strip the rest of the car for spares. What should i do ? I think if it was an estate i would repair the engine and keep it to replace my ageing Beemer. Ian

You should should question why you bought a mint car with a broken engine to use for engine parts.
