Right guys, first day on the site and here is my first problem. Don't know if this is particular to just my car or not, so here goes everytime i put my car into reverse, there is this loud beeping noise, like a truck has when reversing. I have an N reg Ultima if that makes an difference

Hi,I have a tow bar fitted and when I put it in reverse I get that sound.But only when its connected up to a trailer. Have you got a tow bar fitted?

Hi and welcome I own an N reg ultima and mine does not beep when reversing. It beeps if I leave it in gear with the engine off and the door open but thats different. could be the previous owner fitted it as a mod. perhaps he was a lorry driver and he missed the noise someone else may have an idea tho. see ya roy

I had same problem with another car..someone had fitted beeper from Motorworld.Check wiring to reversing lights for those horrible blue clip things.Unit itself is very small.

| Hi I'm pleased to see that I'm not the only one who thinks those " Orrible blue clip things" are a waste of space. you cant beat a soldered joint. cheers roy
