Following replacement of F disc pads it appears that caliper piston is retracting too far back into the caliper, the pedal will pump up to improve it.
(1995 2.0L)
Further to above - after stripping and redoing job a couple of times with no difference I eventually swapped the pads around L.H side for R.H side and for no apparent reason now have correct travel. - Beats me why but it cured it.
