Fuel & Temp Gauges

When i turn the key in the Ignition , both of these gauges kick straight up to the middle of the gauge. temp doesn't move , fuel only moves if car is filled to the hilt with fuel ,then drops after 15-20 miles , dropping straight down to half tank mark

A lot of gauge problems - can or sometimes indicate a battery fault or weak battery - could be worth checking battery cells and voltage readouts
