Hi people, today I ve changed the seats in my cossie from velour to leather, But I have a little problem I have connected the six pin plug for the seat motors and they work, but I have a yellow lead with a two pin plug but no where on the leather seats to connect them too. the air bag warning light is also flashing 4 times telling me the pirotecnics on the pretentioners are not connected I am at a loss the plugs on the velour seats apart from the six pin are different. Any Ideas on how I can reconnect the explosive thingeys and what the yellow cable is for would be most welcoming. Cheers Shaun I.........

I changed the seats in my scorpio and also fitted the heated seat harness and switches... From what I can remember ( Old age) I just connected the plugs as they are different sizes and clolours... , I think ,the pretensioner plug, as far as I can remember is YELLOW .. I did have to change the pretensioners as they had operated on the leathers and mine had not.. Will try and check later but its snowing heavens hard and I don't want to get frozen to death.......

So when you changed the seats - did you leave the pretentioners in place? There are two types pyrotechnic and non-pyro! The non pyro ones have a long spring like cable that wraps around the seat cradle and has no electrical connection! It maybe that you will have to swop your old pretentioners back - just make sure you have disconnected the battery for half an hour! Daven
