Hi Guys i have been told by a friend that there is a way to reset the on-board computer fitted to the Mondeo, this is done by pulling out one of the fuses for about 30 minutes ? he was a little unsure about it ? This has now got me wondering, is it the same for the Scorpio ? if so, what exactly will be acheived by this and what fuse should be pulled ? i'm not planning to do this myself but was just wondering is this just a mith or is it a fact ? cheers Dean

Why do you need to 'reset' the EEC? What problems are you having that requires a rest? If you do a reset then the car has by default enter the 'learning mode' which is well described on the main site although there is a set drive cycle for this procedure should you need it. http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/drivecycle.htm Suggest you ahve read of the main site MOST of the more common faults with the scorpio have most likely already been covered. Have search around in here http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/index2.htm
