Auto Tilting Mirror In Reverse Gear

When i select reverse gear my nearside mirror doesn't auto dip anymore, the mirror still works from the adjustment switch and resets it self for my number 1 setting on the memory switch but no more auto dipping, Has anyone else experianced this? Does anyone know where to start looking for a fault, ie. fuse solenoid etc.?

fitzy....
i have been told that there is a switch on the side of the gearbox,if this is the case,check that the plug is "plugged in"....
