Hello,
can someone explain to me? Only if the car stood some hours with will start the engine of the on board computers and the trip odometers will reset !!??

Hi Fred,
 
the sweeping dials and instruments resetting are classic symptoms of a battery on the way out. Check that first.

Interesting!
The English Scorpio has the battery on the left side.
The German Scorpio on the right side.

Thats because they had to put your wipers on the other side cos you guys sit in the wrong seat  Grin
