Hello, Please can anyone give me a little advice, I am trying to remve the torque converter from a BOB Cosworth motor, but I cannot see how to do it? I have looked on this site but cannot see anything, have I missed it? Once removed , the torque converter and automaic gearbox will be for sale if any one is interested...? In N Wales/Chester area... Thanks in advance

Hi Penny ...... take out the starter motor and the converter bolts can be undone from there < 4 > .. when removing the gearbox the converter will then stay on the gearbox mainshaft < which is what you want it to do > .. regards ....STN

... Thanks for all your advice... Octavian_P , in answer to your question, yes, a MT75 box is going onto the motor... but i had to buy the motor and autobox together as one lot, dragged it home in a Micra (interesting, getting it in and out) and now i am removing (trying) the 'box and converter... thanks again
