FRONT END SQUEAK

Hi All
Problem is that when driving a squeaking sound is coming from the front end of the car that stops as soon as i apply the footbrake and then starts again as soon as i take my foot off the break pedal.
Any one any ideas to what i should be looking for?

andy, presuming your pads are ok, its probably a foreign object caught between disk and pads, flicked up from the road at some point.
