Wrong polarity connecting jump leads.

No doubt there will be a few chuckles over this. After a long day behind the wheel I used the company vehicle to jump start my tired Scorpio battery, however due to it being pitch black, me being impatatient and suffering from sheer stupidity I hooked up the leads reverse polarity and quickly realised what I had done. amazingly still had lights and everything seemed to ok, but due to the pos terminal now half welded I did'nt proceed. Question is on returning with a new battery does anyone know what I should look for if there's problems starting, ( fuses relays etc ). My main concern is the pcm, would there be any major damage present anywhere in the electrics ? Only 5 Secs hooked up, have lights, not fulls, dash lights and blower is working. Any help much appreciated. 95 2.9 24v. Regards, Anto

Disconnect the battery for a few minutes to let modules etc reset before connecting the new one. Hopefully you might be ok
