Stalls after long drive

If I drive for about 45 minutes doing 80mph, the scorp tends to stall when I come to a stop. In order for it not to, I have to have one foot on the brake and the other on the accelerator pedal. Is this a fuel problem? I bought a brand new IACV, and that didn't help. Also, where is the thermostat at? It's not working either? I couldnt find where to find it on the site.

Try cleaning where the butterflies are in the air intake they sometiems stick but the syptoms you describe are the same as you get with a fialing IACV.. With regards the thermostat on the 12... its under the top front hose connector Really easy job on the 12v need a new gasket though whih should come with the thermostat.. its the same as the MK111 granada one ....
