If theres one fault i could point out on an otherwise great car, its the fact that the auto box changes up far too easily! The 24v Cosworth has more than enough power + horses to shift the motor but when it comes to overtaking manouvres etc and pressure is applied to the gas pedal, the engine roars like a Nova SR boyracer (making us look a bit of a fool), drops down a gear, engine revs climb to compensate, and speed remains unchanged! After the momentary thrashing and almost red-lining, the autobox then changes up again and off ye go... Suppose i will get used to it after a while.

Try to clean the MAF first. A lot of automatic gearbox shifting si altered by it, also fuel comsumption has to suffer from it when it's to dirty.
