Hi there
Just posing this question again - What does the warning chime (the same one as comes on if you open the door with the lights still on) signify if it goes off when you start the car?

No it is in park - it's not the constant "I'm not in park" siren, just the intermittent bing bing bing - is it something do with driver's seatbelt perhaps?

From what i know the seat belts don't beep. So it should be something elese. Maybe an electrical fault ?. Ok look at the fuse boxes. Are they clean and dry ? all dors shut up properly, door contacts clean.
PS: Do you got enough fuel ? that also beeps (not like the lights but it beeps)
