Air-con compressor clutch

Anyone here ever replaced the cluch on the air con compressor. Is it possible. My air con was working fine, but failed and now the pully is just rotating loosely, I've had to remove the belt temporarily. Now I steam up every time I drive any distance - well, not me literally, just the car. Cheers everyone. Tony

are you sure its the clutch? or any of the hardware that controls the clutch? or aircon for that matter?

I think so, it could also be a bearing, but until I find out whether it comes apart, I can't be certain. The compressor was fine until the pulley stopped turning, which suggests the clutch but I'm open to suggestions.............
