throttle and air filter

hi .. just a couple of quickys for you ....
 1... can anyone tell me how to clean the throttle body ??? and where is it ??  
  2 .. changing the air filter .. do i get the proper ford one , and pay god knows what... or will a filter from my local moterist discount center do the job as good ???
