Twanging Spring?

I seem to have developed (over the past day or so) what sounds like a front spring (suspension) twanging. Its the nearside one and it seems to occur when I pull away - weight transferring to the rear. Any thoughts? EDIT: Things have been clonking again up front for a while.

Hmm... thanks for that Mike. Maybe Scorpios are a bit weak in the spring area then..? I'll check it out as soon as I can.
