Traction Control

I have a problem with my traction control. When I pull away, the light comes on. No amount of pressing the button switches the light back off again. Before moving, the light is off, and I can press the button to switch it on and off. It's only after I get underway. Any Idea?

Does your ABS light come on aswell? If so, chances are that the rear sensors are dirty so are passing the initial system test but not reading correctly. Cleaning is nice and easy!

dave could well be right,i had a similar problem about 12 months ago, exact same symptoms, only way i could get the light to go off was to re start the engine, then it did exactly the same again, garage removed and cleaned the sensors for me whilst servicing, have not had the problem since, they can get very dirty/dusty in the position they are,so that is most likely your problem

Well, it just so happens that the ABS light does come on at the same time. Time to get the WD40 out.
