Tailgate creaking? Check this instead

Finally tracked it down. It wasn't the tailgate but instead the catch that secures the rear seats. They lock in with a catch thats identical to that that secures the tailgate.
Wrapped insulating tape around them and suddenly, bliss! (Well I'm easily pleased!!)
MOT tomorrow  Fingers crossed!!
