Hi All Can anyone tell me if I can re-programme the Trip Computer to change from metric system back to imperial. The car is a 1996 2.3 auto ultima and when I first got it was registering in MPG etc but last year for some reason it changed to Kilometers and I have never been able to reset it despite following instructions in handbook. Someone told me I would have to take it to a Ford Dealer but surely this should not be necessary. Thanks and Regards "Leon"

Hi Leon If the problem persists, you may need to resolder the switch contacts as they do become dry jointed. I have had to do this myself a couple of times. Full instructions are here. http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/tripswitch.htm Dave

I had to clean mine with IPA/solvent and then they worked fine. Pretty easy, instructions are on main site.
