if a front suspension leg from a 2.3 saloon is the same as the one used on the 2.5td? i have a broken suspension spring but dont have spring compressors etc so thought it might be easier to replace the whole leg assembled as i've found one for 25 quid...... cheers, Phil.

Pretty sure the springs are different, diesel uses the same spring as the 24v

It should fit but whether the spring has the same rating as the one you remove is debateable, you should replace them in axle pairs , although in practice I doubt it makes that much difference , I hope

Ahh, in that case i have one from a 24v which is the same spring as the diesel im sure I also have an unused brand new spring in a box for a diesel you can have for much cheapness if you can steal some spring compressors

im deffo interested in the 24v one if its the complete leg so i dont have to do any compressing bollox and take my head off in the process lol....
