Programming the remote

I have forgotten how to programme the key fob remote. Anybody please provide me with the instructions so I can see where I'm going wrong!

Oh yes thanks for that. Problem is thats exactly what I've been doing, expect that at the last step when I turn the ignition off there is no chime? Does this mean my cars programming system is b****red up?

You turn it to the I position 4 times on the fourth time you hit the I it should chime
