i hope someone can help.. mate of mine took his v6 mondeo for this new mot.. car vin/chassis number didn't match the database.. now he has had a letter off dvla asking for the numbers off the front vin plate. the chassis number thats obviously by the seat but they also want the numbers from a rear plate does anyone no whaere the plate is?? i assume in thew boot but wherethanks

hi-vin numbers on a mondeo are slot at l/hs front lower windscreen,front crossmember (slam panel)on plate or stamped on the bulkhead on drivers side.hth
