glow plugs - auto diesel

well the battery is now working ok all on its own. But the heater battery light did not show on the instrument panel when starting and is a problem to start so had plugs changed but did not make any difference any ideas please.

do you have 12 volts to the plugs when you turn ign. on ? can you here the relay time out ? the glow plug relay sounds like the next place to look .not sure of its location myself though

Nope - that's the fusible link for the glowplugs The relay itself is below the air filter housing, clipped to the inner wing, however it is switched by the ECU behind the glovebox which decides pre-heat time based on engine temperature, etc. Darren
