HBC doesn't work

Can anybody tell me what it costs to replace the HBC by myself?. If I let it fixed at the dealer it will cost 300 euro's!
2.9 Ghia 12V.

Have you read THIS. If you are sure the HBC is defective put up a post on 'Parts Wanted' and see if anyone has one to sell. The price you are being quoted is for a new one. It is simple to remove and replace the unit. The location is shown HERE
