Interior & Door lights stopped working

Hello all, Car has been standing for 5 days. None of the interior lights or door lights would work, including the illumination for the passenger visor. Started the car & ran it for a short time - no difference. Checked fuse 24 (Interior lights and Audio) and it was OK. Radio was working OK anyway. Anyone any ideas? Thanks. Roger.

Thanks Stan, that did the trick. I see that the fuse is for the battery power saver circuit, and is 10 amps. My car was not originally fitted with door lights and illuminated passenger visor. I retro fitted these and took the power off the footwell lights. Perhaps I should have upped the rating of fuse 36! Or is it not as simple as that? Do cars with factory fitted door lights have a higher than 10 amp fuse rating for fuse 36? I would be interested to hear from other owners. My car was registered April '97. Thanks again Stan. Regards. Roger.

The extra load for the lights doesn't go through this fuse, so it stays 10 amp. Dave

Thanks Dave. Any suggestions why the fuse has blown? Roger.

Don't know why it might have blown, mine went when I had the interior light out to look at the aerial. The other symptom was the warning buzzer going when I put it into drive. Dave
