Alarmproblem

Hi, i´ve got a problem with the alarm on my -95 Scorp,
When i lock it on the drivers side the doors lock and the alarm activates normally but when i unlock on the driverside it doesnt turn of the alarm, i have to go round to the passenger door to turn of the alarm.
Any idea anyone

Welcome to the site 
Could be a problem with the door lock/alarm module which goes around the lock cylinder. Pop the door panel off and check it turns freely for a start.
