hi i was wondering if you are supposed to seperate the icv valve and the solonoid when you clean it because i could not do that today because the screws were rusty and i cleaned it and it made no difference whatsoever and i was wondering how i check for air leaks and where i should check for air leaks my car is a 2.9 12 valve and it's only done 70,000 so i would be suprised if one of the gaskets has gone. If anyone has got one of those things you plug into it and it tells you what's wrong with the car and they live anywhere near the hatfield in hertfordshire area i would be eternally grateful cheers

Not near enough to help with a scan but you don't need to separate the valve to clean it.
