CD and Stalk not working on 2007

Whilst trying to find out why my Stereo had no rear output I had the facia walnut pannel and DS lower facia out.
That problem was eventual traced to dead rear speakers ( I should have checked first!! but at least I replaced my instrument cluster bulbs.. )
But now with everything back together, neither my autochanger or my remote stalk work!!
This is on an early 95 2007 system.
Everything is still plugged into the head unit..
So what have I done

Have you possibly knocked one of the plugs out of the rear of your audio unit. You say not, but it's easily done.
On my 7000RDS, (which is probably similar to yours), when pushing the unit back, it's always a real fiddle to make sure that no wiring gets trapped/sheared, and that no plugs or the aerial lead come out. I find that I can just get my hand up the side of the passenger footwell to help guide it in.
If it was working before, and you haven't disturbed the stalk itself, then only other thing I can suggest is that then it may need re-coding again. Mine played up like this, and so I unplugged it all. Replugged it in, and re-entered the code, and off it went again.

I have checked twice..
I have the Microplug ( made by AMP BTW ) with the blue flat lead.
I have a yellow small multiplug
I have a Black Large multi plug.
I did unlug two large 8 ping multiplugs ( 1 for the speakers ) up behind the D/s lower facia but they were both put back.
The only code is for the 2007 and that's fine on Radio...
Any one got a CABLE - Module guide..

OK. Just been out and had a quick look. I've got 5 (6 with the aerial) connectors coming out of the back of my unit so obviously mine is different.
This might help though if it's been converted (maybe before you got the car)?

Unfortunatly that one does not help....
The 2006 does not have the external amp.
I have the blue cable which splits and goes to the amp and cd...
The CD still has power...
If it was not for the fact that I like the stalk, I would put something much better in..

Now the speaker loom seems to be looses as it's intermittend... Wish I had left it alone!!!

Yeah.....I think we've ALL had a job like that!!! Several I suspect.
Why is nothing ever straightforward. Took my Volvo Turbo apart once.....wished I'd never started!!!

Volvo...
2 years ago I said we needed a decent sized family car, and started lookign for a scorpio... A Volvo 850 T5 quickly jumped into fill that gap.. 2 years later I have just finished breaking the T5 and bought the scorpio...
The number of jobs i have wished I never started................ WHOOO!!
If it was not for the stalk the ford system would be LONG gone.. but the stalk is gr8.... I have no problems with NORMAL ICE, but ford do things STRANGE!!

pain in the RS... why did they have to make it all so dificult to get too...
Why not put the RIM/Amp in the radio area...
