Yet another problem has arisen with my diesel scorpio.
Sometimes when i start the car i have no ignition lights or speedo reading etc, and also the electric windows will not work, the car starts as normal but very loud, the airbag light stays on too. '
The car drives like normal but as i said is very loud, then after some time the electrics start working as normal and the engine goes back to usual volume, obviously an electrical issue but any suggestions?? cheers in advance

Also check your ECU connection. The ECU is under the glovebox in a cradle, and just snaps out.

10mm spanner needed to look at the connection pins. 10 minute job.

The pins can get wet, if water has got down the main loom/ cables which run through a large grommet behind the battery. With all the rain we've had recently, it's worth checking.  Wink
