hi i want to fit a new vss on my 20i dohc 1995 m reg auto.is it the2.3 ultima the same part and does any one no the ford part number.my gearbox is a bit tempremental some times and ive been advised to change the vss unit on the gearbox as this hopefully will cure the problem .thanks

Yes identical. The drive pinion they connect to has a different number of teeth on the cog to match the speedo for each engine size/tyre combination but they use a common VSS
