Got an xr4 24v cossie BOB..But like scorps as well

i,m in the process of dropping a 24v in an xr4 and would like to know if theres any need to keep the wiring for the auto box. am i correct in thinking that  the brown multi connector on the inner wing will not be needed. any advice would be truly welcome... cheers
