Just had my pre-MOT done and found the new rubber gator we just had fitted on the rear near-side driveshaft was no longer there! Each end of the gator is still attached with the clips but the the gator itself looks like it's been ripped off. Anyone else come across this problem? We used a genuine Ford part by the way.

Sounds as though you've been doing a bit of off-roading and it's been ripped off. ......................or it wasn't fitted properly. The driveshafts gaiters are usually trouble free, except for the rare instance of the securing bolts coming loose and making a bid for freedom.
