Hi, I'm getting a rattle that appears to be coming from my steering column plus my airbag light keeps coming on so I'm betting its this thats causing it ? Is it an easy job to fix this or is it main dealer time Cheers in advance Pete

Crikey. It may be that something is obviously loose. Have the top and bottom shrouds off (just a couple of screws each IIRC) and see whats what under there

If it is loose on the wheel it is fixed easily. There are a couple of torx screws under the horn/air bag unit which fix it to the wheel. They are at 12 0'clock and 6 o'clock so in order to access them you need to turn the wheel through 90degrees and then they are accessible from either side without removing anything. Try this first.
