Hi thanks for reading this ,great site btw my Scorpio m reg ULTIMA has a 2007 rds cd changer head.To cut a long story short i flattened the battery ..jump started her and now radio CD is kaputt!! the display showed EE for a while now is blank..yep i pushed a few buttons lol(i dont have the code) and even if i did it is just a blank display now.I did check the fuse which seemed ok.Do i just forget sorting it and replace it with one from EBAY?iF SO ANY SUGGESTIONS FOR COMPATIBLE REPLACEMENT? would be greatly appreciated. thanks nessie my first post btw lol

Steady on!!! Slow down !!!!. If you don't have a code you'll need to remove the radio and get the serial number off the back of the unit. That way one of the members will tell you the code to input. If you just tried random numbers the thing will probably have 'locked' you out. Meanwhile read THIS so you know what to do next time....when you've got the code.The handbook pages enlarge by clicking on the bottom right hand corner of the page.

after 10 tries it permanently locks, take the unit to a local stereo shop and they should be able to "unlock" it, i did on mine, was £20 cheers

| There is a way after 10 unsuccesful tries to get another three attempts Hold the preset 6 button till it flashes CODE again.. If you get to LOCK 13 then its time to hand over the cash
