Cossie Throttle Removal

There are two difficult to get to bolts. Bottom driver's side throttle body to middle plenum and throttle body to throttle housing plastic extension.
I have managed to get throttle body out but cannot imagine tightening these bolts adequately without taking something else off the air intake.
Should I remove the drivers side plenum and assemble middle plenum onto this on bench before offering this to passenger side plenum?

If I am thinking of the same part, I managed this with a very small socket set with lots of jointed extensions, along with a pair of pliers to hold the nut at the back of the throttle body on the drivers side  Smiley

EDIT: Are you actually removing the throttle body or just cleaning it? If you are removing it and want to put it back then I think you will have to remove the n/s (passenger) plenum part.

Thanks Dave.
As you say plenty bits of small socket set and pliers to hold bits and long nose pliers to retrieve bits that drop into black abyss!

Someone sent me a pdf of replacement of the FPR and that shows removing the driver's side and middle plenum as one piece.  I just thought that that might be an easier way to remove throttle body as access to the awkward bolts would obviously be much easier.

However there is the draw back of all those intake gaskets to take care of or replace.

Phil
