Furhter to my earlier posts on ABS problems today it was time to change the ABS pump, follwed the excellnt insructions found else were on the site(although they dont mention disconnecting the pipes from module) decide to replace the whole lot, easy as anything and it took 3 hours including bleeding brakes (a must) and lots of tea. End result set off and watched as speedo crept passed 10-15-20-30-40 SORTED Yahoo, cost £83 pounds for module, pump and sensor. Rather than the Ford price of £1200 for pump only excluding fitting. Also found you can change rear sensor without having to remove brake carrier it comes out as easy as anything, so all in all happy chappy, advice is if those light annoy dont give up, it can be fixed

Well done that man, it certainly is a good rewarding feeling when things go right, it also shows up the possibility that had you allowed the garage to do the job they are in the position to replace anything that's not really required. This is my fear all the time with these cars, so out come the spanners.... Pete
