Need HELP! with Alarm

Hello anyone that can help! I am having real trouble with the alarm. I only have the red key no fob, for the last couple of days the alarm keeps going off when the bonnet is touched (even a light touch will do). The alarm arms ok and the red dash light flashes but it just goes of for no reason at all. I am getting ugly stares from the neighbours when i pull up at night from work as it seems to like going off at around midnight If anyone can suggest anything all help would be appreciated.

Simple. It is held in place by a spring clip on either side which needs to be pressed in as you lift it up. When you get the replacement you'll see what I mean. In the meantime try WD40.

as i recently discovered, you can lock the car without arming the alarm. shut the front doors, reach through from the open back door and push the lever on the front door in to lock the car. then get out and shut the back door (remember to have your keys on you). at least its secure and not annoying the neighbours until you get the bonnet switch fixed....
